Bronze Quill Statement of Objectives & Results

We believe that a great communications piece should be judged not just on how it looks — but by the results it achieves.

That’s why we require each Bronze Quill entry to include a Statement of Objectives and Results. The statement should be no more than one or two single-spaced pages. You can download a template here.

In your statement, tell us about your …

1. Audience. Provide information about the intended audience, including size, location, and other characteristics or demographics that might be important, considering the stated objectives. Describe any unique circumstances or challenges posed by the audience.

2. Objectives. List relevant goals and objectives for the project. The objectives you list must be realistic and measurable by outcome (e.g., costs and revenues, time, quantity, and quality). Describe the methods used to measure results. If you do not expect measurable results, explain why.

3. Description. Describe the methods used to achieve the stated goals and objectives, the rationale for choosing these methods, and how the implementation plan was developed. Include the media mix selected, as well as budget and project-management information.

4. Results & Evaluation. Describe the measurable results of the implementation plan, showing specific ways in which your goals and objectives were met. Describe how you measured the project's success and include the results of that evaluation. If it is too soon to measure the results of the project, explain how you intend to measure the results. If you do not expect measurable results, explain why.
