Communication Leadership Awards

IABC Dayton’s Communication Leadership Award is given out once a year to an IABC member who is most outstanding in four areas:

  • career experience
  • communication volunteerism
  • professional development
  • ethical practices

 

Mary BoganCongratulations to this year's Communication Leadership Award winner -- Mary Bogan of Reynolds & Reynolds. Mary Bogan has over 20 years of experience in the communications field. She’s spent time in ad agencies, corporations, and as a consultant. During her career, she’s been a copywriter, market researcher, account executive, creative services manager, and small business owner, to name a few. She also taught marketing at the college level for four years.

In addition, Mary has been active in the communities in which she’s lived. Over the years, she’s been involved with United Way, community mental health organizations, ih the YMCA, and Destination Imagination. Currently, she’s on the Centerville Baseball league board, and a swimming official for the Ohio High School Athletic Association. This is in addition to her work with IABC – which includes seven years as a Dayton Chapter board member and Bronze Quill judge, and then as the incoming Professional Development Chair of the Heritage Region Board.
