2009 Dayton/Greater Cincinnati IABC Bronze Quill Event -- May 27, 2009
Recognizing Excellence in Communication...and Networking!
Kick Your Career Into High Gear Through Networking Excellence!
The Dayton and Cincinnati chapters of IABC are combining their Bronze Quill events this year. But this is not your typical awards ceremony. Taking advantage of our collaboration, this year's theme centers on excellence in communication and networking.
We're proud to announce that our keynote speaker and emcee for the evening will be Andrea Kay, leading career expert, syndicated columnist and speaker, and author of many books, including Work's a Bitch and Then You Make It Work: 6 Steps to Go From Pissed Off to Powerful.
In addition, Great Wolf Lodge is offering tours of the facility after our event.
Even if you did not enter the Bronze Quill Awards this year, we hope you will attend the event to see examples of great communication work, meet communication professionals from different cities, and benefit from networking knowledge that you can use that evening...and throughout your career!
About the Bronze Quill Awards:
The Bronze Quill awards recognize outstanding business communications in 11 categories in three divisions: communication management, communications skills, and communications creative. Individuals who win a Bronze Quill award — whether for a newsletter, strategic campaign, design, feature story, or web site — are recognized for creating leading-edge communications that generate measurable business results.
The awards program is open to any communicator in the Dayton and Greater Cincinnati region, and this year's awards are for work created during calendar year 2008. Projects from Cincinnati and Dayton are being judged by members of IABC chapters in Pittsburgh and Cleveland, providing entrants with an opportunity to receive feedback from other communications professionals.
